Community Futures is currently supporting and administering a number of grant funded programmes primarily aimed at the development of sustainable Community and Social Enterprise in the individual grants area of benefit. Projects should involve a new or existing group working together to develop new revenue generating activity, which will when established improve the long term economic viability of the group. Priority will be given to projects which also provide improved access to services for the local community Application forms and further guidance are available in the downloads section of this website.
Rural Community Enterprise Fund (SO8) - Closed from 31/3/08 The Rural Community Enterprise Fund will allocate £40,000 per year over a four year period from April 2004 to March 2008 to support rural community based enterprises in Lancashire. The scheme is jointly funded by Lancashire County Council and the North West Development Agency (NWDA) with funding supplied through the Lancashire Rural Recovery Action Plan. Applications are invited from small organisations based in Rural Lancashire. Any appropriately constituted locally-based group can apply. Larger voluntary and statutory organisations are ineligible for support.
Garstang and District Partnership Discretionary Fund - Final Applications by May 2008 The Discretionary Fund is aimed at supporting community groups in the area of the Garstang Market Town and hinterland. The scheme is funded by the North West Development Agency (NWDA) with funding supplied through the Market Town programme. Applications are invited from formally constituted organisations based in the area of benefit.
Carnforth Area Regeneration Programme - Small Grants Fund - Closed from 31/3/08 The Small Grants Fund is aimed at supporting community groups in the area of the Carnforth Market Town and hinterland. The fund allocates £25,000 per year until March 2008. The scheme is funded by the North West Development Agency (NWDA) with funding supplied through the Market Town programme. Applications are invited from formally constituted organisations based in the area of benefit.
