Village and Community Hall Advice Community Futures can offer advice to village and community halls County wide. The main focus will be linked to making these facilities more energy efficient by measures to reduce running costs, such as improved insulation, heating, ventilation and the use of renewable energy where appropriate. Community Futures can also offer training and advice on capacity building for trustees to enable them to operate their facility more effectively. Much of the potential funding currently available to village halls for carrying out refurbishment is reliant on energy conservation and where appropriate the utilisation of renewable energy. The main focus is to make buildings more energy efficient and therefore conserve energy use and reduce their carbon footprint.
