Lancashire Association of Village and Community Halls is a registered charity and has provided advice and support to people who are responsible for manging, governing and maintaining village and community halls since 1999.

It exists through the willingness of village hall trustees to share their knowledge, wisdom and experience with each other and ensure that these valuable assets, built up over decades, remain within the network. LAVCH understands that while people may come and go, halls continue to provide valuable services and their sustainability is vital to the future of Lancashire communities.

LAVCH has always worked in partnership with Community Futures to share resources and expertise across an extensive range of information, advice and guidance services. This relationship will continue to be strengthened by the commitment of LAVCH to provide space for village and community halls to voice their concerns and have their needs responded to effectively and in partnership across the whole of Lancashire.
